That will depend entirely on who else enters with what besides Harry! As we don't know the answer to that, there's no point speculating.

Can you provide a direct link, please, Peter? I can't find anything and I'm also not sure which blog you're referring to...

The fifth comment down. :)

Although Jim did not mention the strip being sent in the comments section, I have a feeling he sent a private message to Peter informing him of the fact (but that is of course only speculation.)

I had a shufti at the page this afternoon - the buzz of a new Jim Petrie page arriving fair took me back. It's rather fab, btw. Lovely stuff.

It's brilliant that a new Jim Petrie strip will be appearing in the Beano again soon. I can't wait to see it in the comic! :D

I always remember "Top of the Slobs" with Mince singing Little Red Courgette and Filled Colin singing "You can't curry gloves, no, you'll just lose some weight! You know gloves don't cook easy, it's a shame that they won't bake"
Is it weird to have no interest in keeping or collecting free gifts?

When's it scheduled to be printed? Is it going in the Christmas issue because it's 'special', or earlier so as to make it stand out more?

Christmas sounds right to me. They still need to add colour and speech bubbles, then there's the publication lead time. I'd make that early December, and of course the second issue that month is probably the Christmas one.
