Delighted you noticed it. Of course it's only people here who'll know I wrote and drew Hot Rod Cow. Can you spot my name on the strip? Me neither. It was cleverly concealed in a box on each comic book cover, in a parody of the Comics Code box. Unfortunately that was one of the gags that was over the kids heads, I guess, so Euan put his own gag in there at the lettering stage, meaning my gag and my signature both went the way of all flesh.
I may go back to the way I did the Christmas episode, ie conceal my name somewhere on every page.
Ooh, ooh, must check how I'm doing in the online voting.

... they'll know. Same style as the others.
Out of interest, why do you sign every page rather than just once per part?

Paranoia I guess. When I first had stuff in The Beano I snuck my siggy in at the end. Then I had a bit of fun with it putting it in fun places. Then thE Christmas story (my third) saw me trying to put it somewhere on every page. Hunting for them is the sort of thing I would have found fun as a kid.AndyB wrote:... they'll know. Hot Rod Cow really saw me take my eye off the bal.. I was on such a roll, having such fun, I only put my name in once, and in such a way that Euan could unwittingly cover it up.
The Queen's Birthday strip I'm just drawing has reverted to hiding my name somewhere on every page. It's in tree bark, roof tiles, building blocks, litter, newspaper covers, envelopes (12 pages, twelve different places to spot my name).
After all, when I say I'm Kev F out of The Beano, how else is anyone going to recognise me?
By the by, the Beano has a new editor as of Monday so heaven knows whether I've got a career after next week anyway!

Now that's big news. Where's Euan going? Is the new boy anyone we've heard of?
