If Dennis has a black friend now I hope they can go to Abyssinia and see the homeland of Gnasher's Abysinnian Wire-Haired tripe hound breed.

Re: Just Dennis
In the papers last week they showed the 26 new ten pence pieces, one for each letter of the alphabet. I have a letter in today's Daily Mail suggesting the B coin should have been for the Beano rather than James Bond especially as it celebrates its eightieth birthday this year.
Didn't want to start a new topic.

Re: Just Dennis
As a long-time reader of The Guardian, the only time I read the Daily Mail is when I visit my ex-wife's house in St. Ives. I have just rung her to ask her to save today's letters page for me. She has agreed but I did have to explain why. She's probably thinking though that I've gone off my trolley.stevezodiac wrote:I have a letter in today's Daily Mail suggesting the B coin should have been for the Beano rather than James Bond especially as it celebrates its eightieth birthday this year.

Re: Just Dennis
My letter was edited to about two thirds it's original length. I wonder if there are any special 80th birthday celebrations planned? Lew?

I haven't been out yet but apparently I have a letter in today's Metro as well. Different subject though. Friend just texted me.

I was joke of the day in the Daily Star text maniacs column a couple of weeks ago with the following original joke. What's the difference between a biscuit with currants and Kim Jong Un? One's a fruit shortcake and the other's a short fruitcake.

I'm sure they will celebrate it but what I meant is I've no idea what they have planned.SID wrote:You would think they would considering they did for The Dandy.Lew Stringer wrote:They don't tell us anything I'm afraid.
