I must have had a couple of these old newsletters when I was a member of the Beano club as a kid. I can't find them anymore. I must have thrown them away not thinking much of them.
They also did birthday cards/christmas cards. My memory is a bit fuzzy on which. But I remember one card quite vividly, it had smiffy on it rolling an Easter egg, but it wasnt an Easter card and was captioned with something like Smiffy always gets it wrong.
That cartoon from the Beanotown racing newsletter is the same one they used on the credits of the game. Although slightly edited with no image on the screen.
