Did Ken Reid do the Ali Ha Ha strip in the Dandy Book 1991? What other later stuff did he do?

Ken Reid died in the 1980's so it certainly wasn't by him. I remember a guy called Jerry Swaffield used to draw Ali Ha Ha for a while but I'll have to check to see if he drew the strip in the 1991 annual.

I don't have my copy to hand, and I don't know when I'll be in my shed, but I would guess Keith Robson, who drew the weekly Jonah strip.

That conjures up so many images! The rambling garden. The huge piles of moldering and well thumbed comics. The good lady in the house. The weary bloke escaping to his nostalgic fortress on a Sunday afternoon, with a cup of something nice... :)

... I wish! Said shed has most of my annuals, much of my Lego, most of my CDs (thanks to iTunes), and is at my mum and dad's.

Off the top of my head and without the annual in front of me... Henry Davies also drew quite a number of Ali Ha-Ha strips back around them so it might have been him.

Said shed, now partially occupied by my mum's bike (!) reveals it was probably Henry Davies when he was cloning rather than nicking clips of other peoples' artwork.
