Re: Korky and Beryl
I suspect were either in for another relaunch or the final curtain is about to come down on this comic great. Unfortunatly it just isn't the same as The Dandy I remember, I would be up for a good quality monthly best of The Dandy with good features & quality reprints.

Not this again. I think I already know what Lew's response will be to that. Do we have recent sales figures?

I've had my say on it weeks ago and it didn't go down well so I'm keeping out of it.Digifiend wrote:Not this again. I think I already know what Lew's response will be to that.

{Same again - Andy}
Perhaps all those odd short-lived reprints of classic strips were waters-testing for a more 'classic style' re-launch, which appears to be the direction things are going in.

In other words, the Dandy taking over some of Classics from the Comics' remit? Who knows. Ah well, we'll know for sure within a month.
Although I should point out old strips running just before a relaunch is normal, I have the last pre-relaunch and first post-relaunch issues from both 2004 and 2007, and both pre-relaunch issues feature extra reprints. They save the new material for the relaunch once they know it's happening.
