The other b/w artwork, as far as I am aware, was never published, hence the lack of captions and speech bubbles. But if it was drawn around the time the 'Murphys Mob' series was on TV, then it would be around 1983-84. I believe it to be an artist's spec piece for either 'Look-In' or 'TV Tops' if so.

The 'V' storybook is around 1985.

I forgot about Robert Englund appearing in V good memeory - I think he played the young niave (good guy) alien in the series.

So, as the topic has drifted off slightly, are we drawing a blank on the artist... ?

Re: Yet more 'Who Are The Artists?' !
Thanks to John Freeman, David Roach believes this artist to be Rodney Sutton, who apparently did a lot of girls' strips for DC Thomson:

Does anyone have any info on Sutton, or know of other strips he did to do a comparison? Better still, is he still around, as I'd like to ask him abou this unpublished work...

That looks the same artist as Grange Hill Juniors in School Fun.
Re: Yet more 'Who Are The Artists?' !
I think I may have issue 1 of 'School Fun' which had a 'Grange Hill' strip in somewhere but is anyone able to post a scan for comparison please?

Sorry Peter, but surely the scans you have of 'Grange Hill Juniors' on your blog under Colin Whittock show the art of Brian Delaney? Or did you mean you think Colin Whittock is the artist who drew the 'Murphy's Mob' pages I posted?Peter Gray wrote:http://petergraycartoonsandcomics.blogs ... 20Whittock.
