Bought two copies of the "Fantasy Unlimited Catalogue" which I guess was the catalogue of a comic shop in N1, London: but can't find any info on it online. Does anyone know more about the shop, or even have a picture of it?
Fantasy Unlimited started off as sales list for dealer Alan Austin, becoming an excellent comics fanzine which was eventually retitled Comics Unlimited, running for many years in the seventies.
I've spent the last few weeks concentrating more on selling but you can't resist some items when they come up!
Not today but over the last couple of weeks I've picked up:
Warrior #19 to complete the set
5 x Commando comics under #30 to replace poorer condition ones
10 x Smash comics to fill more gaps
Little Star #1 - DCT - 1972
A massive collection of Victor comics......just because they were REALLY cheap so I couldn't resist
The New Adventures of Barbarella #1-4 - Virgin - 1981. I'd not come across these before but something grabbed me!
Jag Football Special - 1968 - via this site
Lion Holiday Specials - 1977 & 1978 - via this site
Tiger Holiday Specials 1980 & 1982
Victor Summer Special 1978 - that's the 70's issues complete
Battle Summer Special 1991 - the last one
John Carter of Mars #1 - WDL - 1953
Mike Donovan Detective Comic #50 (#1) - Arnold - 1951
Fargo Kid #1 - Strato/T&P - 1959
Hot Rods & Racing Cars #1 - L Miller - 1953
Hooded Horseman #1 - Streamline - 1951
And from Compal:
Planet Comics #1 - Locker - 1950
Fight Comics #1 - Locker - 1950
Jumbo Comics #1 - Locker - 1951
Jungle Comics #1 - Locker - 1950
Wings NN - Streamline 1951 - Not sure which of the three in the set is #1 so I'll keep hold of this for a while
Zipper Ripper - One Shot - Cartoon Art - 1946.
This week is getting even better. After completing my Red Dagger set yesterday, I received Starblazzer #273 in the post this morning meaning I now have the complete set of 281 Starblazers now. Very happy man this morning!
Got Victor comic #19 (1/7/61), and Rover & Adventure comic dated 1/7/61. I got these 2 for a reason, they both have full page ads for ?
anyone care to have a guess?
