Hi, I recently acquired the first 4 catalogues from the sale of Denis Gifford's estate - these auctions were run by Hamer auctions in 2001 - the catalogues are A4 sized and reasonably interesting - my question is how many catalogues are there? I have 4 ad sale #5 & #6 are advertised in catalogue #4 - but in my head I think there may have been 12 auctions in total but can't seem to find any evidence to back this up - anyone got any ideas (or catalogues for sale)?
Thanks

Re: Denis Gifford collection auction catalogues?
I have a few of those catalogues but, like most of my collection, I cannot locate their exact whereabouts. I can't remember if they had any indications of dates or such to identify their chronology.

I certainly received them all. I will not have discarded them, but like Steve, I don't know where they are. Issue 1 of The TIGER did reveal itself eventually so I have high hopes for the catalogues.stevezodiac wrote:I have a few of those catalogues but, like most of my collection, I cannot locate their exact whereabouts.

I think they all had the same cover picture but in different colours for each issue.

Re: Denis Gifford collection auction catalogues?
for the 4 issues I have yep, same cover image, different colour, so I assumed that pattern continues.
The dates (and auction #) are all on the front cover
