Check you two out, Next it'll be long slow walks along the beach.

Meanwhile, back at the ranch, I have cut my gaps to five in the Commando run. I weakened and bought the issue of 370 that has been on the Bay for a while.

Super happy with my find today! Found a 1953 (or 1952? who knows) Oor Wullie book for just $20 (NZD, so about £10). Sadly it appears to be bound into a hardcover with Oor Wullie written on the spine in gold lettering, but is otherwise plaim.

I absolutely adore Dudley Watkins and love Oor Wullie with a passion and always have - as a kid I once even bought a metal bucket. Inside the front cover there is a wonderful full page piece of some 100+ pictures of Wullie pulling faces! Thinking I might blow it up and put it up on the wall as a large poster. Might try and figure out how to upload a photo here, or maybe make a blog post on my site, but I'll leave that til tomorrow as its getting late here in New Zealand... :snoring: :snoring:

That is an epic find George as those annuals are going for over £100 in the UK.

I took delivery yesterday of a bit of a grail. Issues 1 to 69 of Spellbound and it does what is says on the tin as they kept me spellbound all last night. Unfortunately a couple will need to be replaced but that's better than trying to find them all one at a time.

So Paw Broon doesn't worry about me, I am more than happy to divulge that I got them for a lot less than market price.

Now all I need to find is the Supercats pendant!

Arriving this morning was this year's 2000AD sci-fi special, and from Will-Comics, the big bundle of the 1990 issues of the Topper, and the Beezer and Topper.

For me, this now leaves me with five issues to go (including No. 1963) before I have the full set of that year of the Topper.

As soon as everything is updated, I will update my wants list thread in the Buying and Selling forum.

I should think so!! There's neither reason nor justification for allowing yourself to be ripped off by greedy chancers, Steve.
