I recently bought two years' worth of Bullets from eBay and the first of the shipments arrived today.
That's a good haul. Hope they weren't too expensive.
I don't think so. The 1977 set works out £1.50 per issue*. 1978: £1.10. Another bonus is that a few years ago, I bought a bundle of comics on a whim (they were cheap) and going through them last weekend found I had almost a full set of 1976 issues. So my Bullet collection is almost complete.

*Actually cheaper as I was also sent a load of issues from 1976.
Reading comics since 1970. My Current Regulars are: 2000 AD (1977-), Judge Dredd Megazine (1990-), Spaceship Away (2003-), Commando (2013-), Monster Fun (2022-), Deadpool and Wolverine (2023-), Quantum (2023-).

I’ve picked up the pre-publication test print of Wham 1. Packed full with strips but also with a fair few blank pages where the adverts should be. This has been discussed on the forum before but I would not be surprised if copies were printed and used by the advertising team as samples of the intended final product. Another nice curio for my collection.

Hey, well done! Love the Wham comic. Hopefully you'll add a pic or two of the concept comic. Be interesting to see. :)
Well, hello there!

That is a nice find and thanks for the pictures.

I have a feeling that pictures would not be appreciated for my latest arrivals. I received two batches of Girls Picture Libraries yesterday of which 62 were Blue Jeans. Another 30 odd were Bunty and Mandy.

A mix of 24 Battle, War and Air Ace arrived on Thursday. Shall we just say it's going to have to be a cracking find on comic selling sites for me to buy anything next week!
I started to say something sensible but my parents took over my brain!

Bought some modern comics this time.

The77 - 3rd issue and getting better with each new issue.
Spacewarp - I like Pat Mills' new version of 2000 AD. Hope Phase Two comes out next year.
SHIFT - This new comic caught me by surprise when I saw it advertised in Comic Scene just the other week and so ordered the first issue straight-away. I like it and definitely will be getting further issues.

I have to say in today's times (and despite of Covid), it has been a pretty good turn out for new comics with the second issue of Brawler is coming out next year.

A big well done especially since some other, more established, comics are on hiatus.

The new Sexton Blake special from Rebellion has turned out to be a real treat. I was expecting a couple of reprint strips bunged in with a page or two of new art but the reality is far better. There’s a lot of good editorial within its pages accompanied by a good dollop of comic history. Consequently I’ve really warmed to the character.

Whizzing to me courtesy of eBay is a fat wad of 1967/1968 Busters for a fiver. From the pictures it looks as though there could be one of the Leo Baxendale fill in covers within the pile. That caught me by surprise when I first saw one with his anarchic style deployed on Buster himself but of course it’s wonderfully attractive.
