Starts this coming Monday Steve, March 3rd,10 AM, repeated at 6PM.stevezodiac wrote: 22 Jan 2025, 21:50 Heard yesterday that The Monkees is coming to Rewind. Been wanting to watch that for years. Dvd sets were always very expensive. Even in HMV they were twice the costs of other 60s shows.
REWIND TV
Re: REWIND TV
Re: REWIND TV
And SOAP begins March 13th (I loved that show and haven't seen it for decades).
Re: REWIND TV
Rewind is a great channel and I'm enjoying The Monkees and Bewitched but WHAT IS GOING ON WITH THE 8-10 PM SLOT???
How many times can we watch The Prisoner and Jason King???
Fantastic Journey and Born Free were great fun but shown only once so far.
I'd just love to see them put a bit more effort into these two hours, frankly these are primetime when people are home from work and are tuning in to relax over a beer.
Time to up your game REWIND TV.....
Something like The Six Million Dollar Man or any Irwin Allen series.

Re: REWIND TV
Six Million Dollar Man is currently on Legend. Legend showed the Irwin Allen shows a year or two back. I contacted Rewind on X asking if they could dig up an old western series. They said they'd look into it. When I was a kid in the 60s there was a western series on practically every night. Plenty to choose from.

Love to see Rewind show some Westerns. Big fan of such.stevezodiac wrote: 16 Mar 2025, 16:44 Six Million Dollar Man is currently on Legend. Legend showed the Irwin Allen shows a year or two back. I dunno if I get Legend as haven't seen Steve on tv for a while, nor IA shows.

Re: REWIND TV
Rewind is showing Please Sir! from next Thursday. Starting with the first black-and-white episode. It was in Look-In so comic related.
Re: REWIND TV
Yes Rewind seem to have really shaken up there schedules and are also now showing the Rhoobarb cartoon in the evening, which is nice but weird.stevezodiac wrote: 25 Apr 2025, 19:21 Rewind is showing Please Sir! from next Thursday. Always welcome to see re-runs of "Please Sir".
I'm uncertain how many eps they showed of "The Monkees" in the end as they changed transmission time to an earlier slot so I was at work and could no longer watch it.

Re: REWIND TV
They didn't show the final episode which was the Monkees playing a live gig. Nice to see Julie "Catwoman" Newmar in one of the later episodes.
Re: REWIND TV
Cheers for info.I think I missed a lot of the episodes. Love Julie Newmar.
Re: REWIND TV
Nice to see they are showing "The Lovers" and "The Dustbin Men".

Re: REWIND TV
And last week Paula Wilcox was in the Dustbinmen and Yootha Joyce was in The Fenn Street Gang. I'm looking forward to Leena Skoog turning up in two episodes of the latter in the next few days. Google her name and see why.

Sixties series The Baron begins a run on That's TV from tomorrow (Monday) night. I love seeing the shows I grew up watching being repeated.
