Whoopee! - Frankie Stein and Fun-Fear

I'm trying to track down issues of Whoopee! that feature the following strips:

* a rare case of a Frankie Stein strip where Professor Cube "wins": it ends with Frankie's head stuck through the roof of a car, with Cube unable to hear him because his voice is lost in the wind

* an episode of Fun-Fear where the visitors discover a cable powering the funfair and conclude that everything's fake... but when they follow the cable to its end they find a monster operating everything

This would have been in the early 1980s. I remember these as being in Annuals or Specials, but they're definitely not in any of the Annuals. Specials are harder to track down! It's just possible that they were in the weekly but I think Fun-Fear was out of the comic by the time I was reading it.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
