Flash Gordon in TV Tornado

A friend of mine wants to know what Flash Gordon strips appeared in TV Tornado. If anybody knows, which seems quite likely in this forum, he'd like to know whether they were comic book or comic strip reprints, and where and when they first appeared.

Offhand I couldn't say where they first appeared but I'm pretty sure that all the Flash Gordon episodes in TV Tornado were taken from Mac Raboy's run on the newspaper strip. As a matter of interest No.38 was the only time Flash got the cover to himself (presumably drawn by Mick Anglo), but this also marked his final outing in the comic. He was subsequently replaced by Don Harley's original Science Fiction series about 'The Mysterons', inherited from Solo when the titles had merged the week before.

If it's of any help, for indentification purposes, the first Flash Gordon series published in T V Tornado was titled 'The Vesuvius Mystery'.
