Would I be right in assuming that this chap who drew the darkly atmospheric Brigand Doom for 2000AD was also the same fellow that drew Force Five for Victor in 1990?
I have scoured the net for information on Dave, but it looks like he quit the comic industry some years ago and has moved to pastures new.

And that will be Ricardo Garijo. An informative link on wikipedia and his art has definitely changed over the years, especially when you look at his Commando work.

In the new Eagle "De'antiquis" had the following credits...
28/02/87 - Johnny Nobody [one-off strip]
26/09/87 - Doomlord [fill in artist on long running strip]
23/04/88 - 02/07/88 - Detective Zed
04/08/90 - Computer Warrior [fill in artist on long running strip]
Also, in the 26/09/87 issue the 'fan art' section maybe has some art by his daughter (certainly someone with the same unusual surname!)
