How About a Bob Dewar page, Peter Gray?

Bob Dewar is one of my all time favourites. I loved Lumpy Gibbon - shame the 'pesky readers' didn't, but that's often the case, sadly.

Hope you don't mind me blowing my own trumpet but my Beezer Index, published a number of years ago, gave full listings for all Beezer & Topper (1990-1993) characters including all those produced by the highly distinctive Bob Dewar.

I'm pretty sure he did a fairly lengthy piece in the Wolf Cub Jubilee annual 1966. It involved a scaredy-cat Wolf Cub member taming a Tiger.

I have a few Plugs so I can give you some scans of Lumpy Gibbon if you want? As far as I know, the only one I have in colour is issue 7 tho.

His Joe King joke corner was reprinted in last weeks Beano, but haven't got today's yet. Here's hoping!!
(Or not, because that would mean a Billy Whizz reprint too - wasted page!! Get Tom Paterson or Trevor Metcalfe to do new ones - have you seen Billy by Tom in 2008 book/BeanoMAX No.1?? Brilliant!!)

Its strange that Trevor Metcalfes Billy Whizz is being reprinted...why not use the real Trevor in his old style if the computer pad version style wasn't popular with the editor and wasn't working...shame Trevor was dropped from DC Thomson (cost cutbacks?..editor not a fan..?)
