This man deserves a rightful mention. He drew the Death Wish stories and contributed occasionally to the Speed story The Fastest Footballer On Earth (Speed, an IPC publication, began in February 1980 and merged with Tiger in November).

Hmm... me and a couple of friends at school where going to make a comic called Speed in 1995 (due to it being almost entirely stories about either motor racing or "soapbox cart banger racing" (called Cart Wars, my first comic strip to have a title!), to "publish" on the photocopier and sell around the school, it never happened though. Never knew somebody else had already used the name!
