THE HISTORY OF THE BEANO

Post by john9965 »

Has anyone bought this yet? I've just ordered it on Amazon, £17.50 instead of £25.
Its 352 pages so it looks value for money.

looked in FB on saturday (got Alter Ego but nothing else). Also scoured Smiths at Lewisham. I don't like buying anything online as it involves giving card details &c. and i'm a bit wary of giving out that info for the sake of one Rookery Nook. (There are some scoundrels out there who will half inch your bank details).

New Film: Indiana Jones and the search for that immensely proportioned tome detailing the history of the Beano comic type thing!

In a shadowy bar in Istanbul Jones is handed a package containing the aforesaid much sought after journal, ripping the brown paper from the package his eyes widen in disbelief. "You rotting gusseted bufoon, this is the Beano/Dandy 70 Years of Fun! May the offspring of a thousand cockroaches take up residence in your loincloth you gumboil on the rear end of humanity!"
