Euan Kerr Leaves Thomsons
Re: Euan Kerr Leaves Thomsons
Kev, I must echo Lew's point in that I came into the Beano after Euan had left the editor's chair. But, you're certainly right that he introduced a lot of artists with distinctive styles. I'm thinking people like Nick Brennan and Duncan Scott, whose art certainly wasn't (and still isn't!) aping anything that had been in the Beano before. And Gary, of course.

Re: Euan Kerr Leaves Thomsons
Hi Kev the programme was called 'chewing the fat' and there was quite a similarity, the beano sketch was quite good too! Its amazing how each editor adds so much to the comic, as much as were applauding Euan (rather deservedly if that's a word) Kev has highlighted Alan Digbys contribution with the likes of Lew and Laura brightening up the comic in there own ways!
