BUSTER ,GONE , BUT NOT FORGOTTEN.....

I'll never forget the day , way back when I was around six and dumped at a relatives as my parents went to a wedding , thatI got my first taste of buster.From that day I was hooked , it was everything that the beano and dandy were not , It was great!I also loved whizzer and chips and when my baby comes in june I will enjoy sharing my old copies with him/her as soon as they are old enough.Can anyone tel me also ,what Tom patterson is up to now? , his time as buster artist was for me the best.

Tom Patterson draws Bananaman for the Dandy most weeks, and the occasional Minnie the Minx in the Beano. He's also responsible for Fiddle O Diddle and Brain Dwane in the Dandy and usually does about half the Bash Street Kids Summer Special

..And of course his masterpiece (in my humble opinion) in the Beano "Calamity James". Totally agree the Buster was a great comic, Im old enough to remember the early days of the humour and adventure strips that the Buster ran (as oppossed to the all humour strips) great stuff.
