BOYS WORLD COMICS WORTH ?40+ EACH!!!!!

I've just been looking on eBay and have seen SINGLE issues of Boys World currently selling for ?40-?100 each!!!!!!!!!

Can anyone tell me why the sudden 'collectability' of this one-time 'non-collectible' comic. Were any of the stories drawn by Don Lawrence?

Looks to me like it's all down to 2 people conducting a bidding war and not really indicative of the actual comics worth.

Possibly these are special issues, complete with free gifts, and in pristine condition. Boys' World's seem to be a bit rare, and I've heard that they can sell for ten pounds each. I'm very keen on them myself, and have almost the entire run of 89, between Jan '63 and Oct. '64 (I'm only short on ten)- but I wouldn't pay forty quid for one!
