Globe Laundry

Does anyone have any idea who painted this? It is a fragment of a much bigger piece of original artwork in my collection. The painting, broadly speaking a water colour with some kind of marker pen for the detail on the shirts, measures approximately 1' 9'' x 1' 3''. It shows two teams playing football on some waste ground but being so incompetent that somebody kicks the ball over the wall of the Globe Laundry. The humour, such as it is, lies in the fact that the ball is being returned from the laundry to the surprised players in its original, pristine, completely-white state. The signature of the artist looks like Gwil or Swil, and I assume that the painting might possibly have been offered to a paper like The Weekly News simply for one of their many single-panel black and white jokes.
