The "gross comics" debate

Talk here about just about anything associated with British comics or story papers and the industry that does not fit in any other forum.
There are separate fora open to registered members for discussing specific comics, artists, websites etc.

It's very punk in the sense that technique is not as important as actually doing it yourself, I think.

I do comics myself too!, they're just very very "establishment". The "establishment" of comics as they appeared in approximately 1951 anyway.

Viz also started out as a self-published fanzine with wonky art too (and, from what i have seen of issue 1 scanned for a book, wasn't really all that funny to start with) and ended up being 'quite' sucessful!
