ALBION NUMBER 4 IS OUT
Hiya steelclaw
I think the castle is actually supposed to be Cursitor Doom's ancient residence.
Most of the clues in #5 point this way - on page 13, Charlie Peace refers to "doing this place changing his life" while the art cuts to a flashback of Charlie stealing Cursitor Doom's timepiece (the one that - in the world of Albion - propels him to the present day).
Plus Eagleton actually refers to the MOD buying the castle off Cursitor Doom in #3.
Nice idea, though!

Oh well, I never get anything right
ALBION NUMBER 4 IS OUT
We are going to have to wait longer to read the end.
Issue 6 has now been rescheduled to be released on 16th August 2006.

ALBION NUMBER 4 IS OUT
They used to churn comics out weekly with tons of stories and pages, now you have to wait nearly a year for 6 comics and 1 story.

Re: ALBION NUMBER 4 IS OUT
DC Comics have rarely published weekly comics.steelclaw wrote:They used to churn comics out weekly with tons of stories and pages, now you have to wait nearly a year for 6 comics and 1 story.
Also, the fact that Albion isn't an anthology by different artists is a factor in its delay. Comics like Valiant and Tiger were never drawn by one artist.
Even when the artwork is complete there's also rescheduling of printing and distribution dates to be done, so August is probably the earliest they could fit it in.

Yeah but no but.
Lew you must admit it's taking a long time.
Although it appears I'm moaning (I'm not really )it's well worth the wait.
Thunderbolt Jaxon seems to be on time though.

Undeniably, but your comparison to weekly comics of old isn't relevant as DC comics have always been monthly (with two exceptions). Besides, artists used to fall behind schedule back then too but they'd use fill-in artists to keep on deadline. It's not really acceptable to swap and change artists for a 6 issue mini-series.
