Wasn't a "Baby Boomer" the term given to those `babies` born 1946/7 just after the war ? It was due to the soldiers returning!

I think it applied more to the 1950s actually, because austerity and rationing remained after the war, it was when those restrictions were relaxed that more babies were born.

Any time from 1946 really - men came back from fighting, they celebrated in bed!

the SILENT GENERATION were those between the wars, ie: those born between 1919-1938.

the BABY BOOMERS were, as Digi points out, those born during the population explosion between 1946-1964, and this is where the name of the strip comes from.


GENERATION X are those born between 1965-1981.


GENERATION Y are those born between 1982-2002.


which brings us up to date with GENERATION Z, the babies born since 2003.

I have to say that I love your latest signature cartoon. The 'patheticness' of what Jet's trying to do makes it hilarious, as well as Veronica being impressed with his fake 'muscles'.

I feel the preceding drawing [BABY BOOMER inside a fake KONG] hasn't been done before, anywhere...at least, not to my knowledge.

Mind you! In the 1984-85 run of `I. Spy` strip in `Champ` comic, Mr Mastermind was found to be operating a giant mechanical Abominable Snowman from inside! but no King Kong!!

Anyone else think Veronica resembles actress Shirley Cheriton, or has my injection had a worse side affect than I was told?
