Hello!
Figured it was okay to make an intro thread in this area. I am Wrecks and hail from America. I don't know much about UK related comics. But I saw this place advertised at TheHazey and finally figured I'd join up. I figure I'd learn about the comics from the UK as a good experience. I am 23 years old. Love Hot Pockets and Werewolves. I run a comics discussion forum for a website based here in America. I'm a pretty laid back guy to know.

Howdy to the land of Mom's apple pie, and the country which gave us MAD Magazine and many other cartoon greats.

Re: Hello!
America is a pretty big place (so I hear) any chance of narrowing down your location? Are you a city slicker or a hillbilly?

That's some nice art there! And I live in Oklahoma. Think would be considered a city boy.

Re: Hello!
Wasn't there a famous movie musical about Oklahoma? Now what was it's title? (Hope Americans are now doing irony).
Incidentally (and speaking of musicals) did anyone see Law and Order Special Victims Unit last night? The one with Lesley Caron. Superb episode - Caron won an Emmy award for it. Next Friday's episode guest stars Jerry Lewis as a vagrant who is related to Munch.

Re: Hello!
I've seen the Lewis episode. He's very good in it. Sorry I missed the Leslie Caron episode though. Did she pass away recently or am I thinking of someone else?stevezodiac wrote:Wasn't there a famous movie musical about Oklahoma? Now what was it's title? (Hope Americans are now doing irony).

Greetings to Wrecks, btw.
