Have you not read Jamie Smart's, Nigel Auchterlounie's, Lew Stringer's, MMi's and my contributions to this thread?
Even my drawing board is excited.

Tsk, I hope the new Dandy website gets updated more often than the current one. Still says the current issue has five free gifts - the previous issue did, but this one only has two, it should've been updated yesterday.

There's one more thing we can add to Digi's list of what we know about the New Dandy:

Andy Fanton's George Vs. Dragon will be in there from the first new-look issue...

See his site at www.andyfanton.com and read 'Dandy Gets Dandier'

Lol! Controversy from older fans is guaranteed as with any modern comic, but I think if they put themselves in the position of an eight year old in 2010 and not 1967 then the reaction should be mainly positive. That said, I think my 1967 self would enjoy it. In fact I'm certain of it.

(No, 1967 isn't a cryptic clue. I just chose that date because that's when I was 8 years old.)

Another looney suggestion..I'm full of them..

The Dandy will be in small size But very thick in a Mang book style and you have to read it backwards... :)

I know comics have been accused of dumbing down but calling The Dandy thick is just rude. :-)

That's an interesting one! Ecomic - promoted in The Beano and other DCT titles, but with no production cost outside staff costs and any new material costs...

Exciting news...

What are the chances of buying the relaunch it in the shops?

I looked for Dandy Extreme in 5 shops today and didn't see it anywhere unless it's sold out or it's not out yet.
