2000AD FIRST ISSUE GIFT

Post by stevezodiac »

I have the first issue of 2000AD and am pretty sure I still have the free giftspinner but haven't seen it for decades. Does anyone know if it had the comic title printed on it or was it just a plain frisbee/spinner? (I can't even remember the colour).

It was definitely red...going off memory alone here..it had no logo on it. Cheap and cheerful :-)

Steve, the only thing printed on it was Space Spinner in the centre. As shown here ....ImageHope this helps to jog the old brain cells. :D
I started to say something sensible but my parents took over my brain!

Mine survived three house moves and then one day was gone. I will always suspect that some one swiped it thinking it was just something to throw for the dog that would never be missed (it was not stored with my comics).

In all the times I've rooted about in my collection it has never turned up - its probably sellotaped to my back like a "kick me" note.
