I have two pieces of artwork done by Bill Mevin (not signed but one has his name written on the back) but would like to know what publication they came from.
They could be from a 1950's or 60's UK disney book.
If anyone recognizes these illustrations please let me know as I'd like to find the annual they were originally drawn for.
Bill Mevin Disney Artwork-but from which book?

they are very nice.
The Alice figure clearly looks like a celluloid overlay, although oddly the Cheshire Cat looks like a head-only overlay [maybe even a cut-out] and the cat's body looks like part of the background painting.

Also Dumbo and Moley did not appear in the same film. Moley was in 'The Adventures of Ichabod and Mr. Toad' and Dumbo was in, errrm I don't know which film Dumbo was in sorry Hopefully this will help locate the book, look for something were the characters are together.
