They're telling the truth from their point of view Digi. It all depends on when retailers are supplied with books and when they can allocate them to their shops.

It's a great book and I'll be reviewing it on my blog this week.

Finally got the book!!

Its a very early Birthday present from my Wife..couldn't wait for the 20th Dec as i've waited so long..

Amazed how cheap it is and how thick the book is..loads to read..
Jack's art is amazing..lots of depth he got into those pictures..makes them feel like a real world with lots of space..

Seeing the Black Bob in silly cartoon form was funny with all the injuries he has had.. :P :)

Noticed that Black Boib's Big Job doesn't have every panel in it..The master stuck in the well panel for example..
But other than that its a dream come true to see this book..

And I just picked up the last copy there. It'll be a birthday present from my Grandma (my 27th birthday is on Sunday). :)

Waterstones seem to have ordered more copies after I bought that one. And it's revealed something - the book has apparently already been reprinted. My copy has a Waverley Books logo which looks like a cathedral, while the copy they have in stock now has a completely different logo. They also added a newspaper review quote on the back cover, which is absent from mine.

That's a good sign that it went back to print - must've sold reasonably well. Nice to hear!

Having read the above, I scuttled off to my local Waterstones only to find that they had one copy and it was still full price. Might have to just shell out for it.

It was actually supposed to be back to full price before I bought my copy, but it still said half price on it, so they honoured the deal. You should've bought it four months ago!

I recently bought three of the first four Black Bob Books - none of which cost more than £3! (He said smugly)
