Alley Cat had a very healthy, if somewhat sporadic, run in the weekly
Jinty appearing from 1976 to at least 1981, although the first artist was replaced early on.

As I'm no expert on IPC's humour artists of the 70s and 80s I'll leave it for other eyes to identify the artists responsible.
Of course, given the publisher's notorious tendency to recycle strips as often as possible I wouldn't be at all surprised if Alley Cat was subsequently reprinted elsewhere under a different name.
