I presume it is Weather related `Adventure` strips that interest you Raven - not the `Fun` strips. I ask as I know of at least two `Dreamy Dave and Dozy Dora` `fun` adventures in `Sparky` that were very Weather related. There was also "The Terrible Tasks of the Tambling Twins" in the Sparky Book 1970 which featured Weather a lot!

I'm afraid the interior art and story for this issue of Super Detective Library fall well short of Rick Random's usual standard, but to my mind Arnold Beauvais' atmospheric cover succeeds where they fail in presenting a wonderfully effective variation on the theme of upside-down weather!

I was just as interested in the fun strips, Alan. I do have the 1970 Sparky Book, but - much preferring the later Sparky Books, which I'm very fond of - I hadn't much liked the look of that one, finding much of the artwork quite unappealing and many of the story concepts quite weak (Tom Tardy, Charlie Chutney and Hitch-Hike Mike, indeed!) so I didn't end up paying much attention to it. Having a closer look now, yes, there is indeed an icy one and one featuring a storm cloud!

That camel looks proper narked, Phil! What's the gist of the storyline for that one?

I just remembered Raven. There are a couple of pages - put by `Ispyyyshguy` of the `Floating Farrells` strip on an early thread of mine titled SPARKY 1965 to 1973. On the fifth page about 2/3rds down!
