The annuals I bought today are...

Dandy Annual 1980, 1981, 1982, 1983, 1984, 1989
Beano Annual 1978, 1981

Jackpot Annual 1983
Krazy Annual 1981
Monster Fun Annual 1982
Cor Annual 1982
Whizzer And Chips Annual 1984
School Fun Annual 1985
Whoopee! Annual 1982

I already have Score Annual 1981 and some Viz annuals so that makes my entire collection so far! I also want to say thanks to the forum as I had never heard of Krazy or Monster Fun but after reading peoples discussions here and finding excellent quality copies on ebay I had to get them. I was going to start my collection by just getting annuals I remember from my youth but bidding fever kind of took a hold of me lol

:D Cheers philcom55, I'm fighting the urge to buy some comic libraries next. Funny how one thing leads to another. Deep breaths and walk away from the computer for 10 minutes lol

Just got the Dandy Beano presents the comics at christmas that was published back in 1997 (The Dandy's 60th year and not a mention) only paid a couple of quid from the nearly new shop as this particular volume seems to cost more than the rest of the series on feebay etc so a nice bargain too

I bought the latest Doctor Who Magazine. It certainly moved on since it first came out in 1979.

I liked the main strip and the articles about the Daleks.
Reading comics since 1970. My Current Regulars are: 2000 AD (1977-), Judge Dredd Megazine (1990-), Spaceship Away (2003-), Commando (2013-), Monster Fun (2022-), Deadpool and Wolverine (2023-), Quantum (2023-).

Not so much bought as arrived today:

The Tower King (very nice)
Beyond 2000AD
One-Eyed Jack And The Death Of Valiant

I will give my verdict on each later on.
I started to say something sensible but my parents took over my brain!

Yes - I got a boost from seeing the last page of the latest ABC Warriors series too. Unfortunately we'll probably have to wait several months for the next installment.

I've just started buying it again in the last month. Really enjoying some stories. Not so much of the student humour and interminably long text boxes, with nothing happening in an eopisode. Pat Mills is still the best, mind you.

About 100 Beano/Dandy comic libraries and a storage box.

Also a near mint condition Dennis the Menace fan club wallet with badges and certificate that has not been signed by the original member.
