QUESTIONS ABOUT COMIC CHARACTERS

I have started collecting Lion, Valiant and Action Annuals. I think that some of the characters in them are also to be found in comic digests. Am I right? The stories in the Annuals are all uncredited. Would it be possible to find out who wrote and illustrated them? Is the Comics Journal a good source for such information? Sundar

comic characters.a good and informative book i found and bought is "encyclopedia of comic characters"by denis gifford.he has 1200 of them.when they started,who drew them,what comics they were in etc

Comic Characters.Avery informative book i have found and bought is"Encyclopedia of Comic Characters"by Denis Gifford.the book has 1200 characters in it.with information on ,who drew it,when it came out and what comic it was in.another good book is the "fleetway book"that has information about Buster,2002 ad,starlord,lion,etc.
