Speaking of the Dandy, cutbacks ahoy! That bit at the back where they credit the staff, used to mention five names, then four, now it's only three. They seem to have dropped two members of the editorial team!

I'm told that Ally has retired in the last few months. I assume that Mark is the Dandy's graphic designer, because Craig and Michelle are the editor and deputy.

As the last two and two thirds posts have nothing to do with What comics did you buy today?, should they not be transferred to the thread for The Dandy?

Because we've always tolerated a little topic drift without seeing the need to split every topic as soon as possible.

Got some Topper annuals at £2.99 each..spent about £15..
earliest 1968 the rest early 70's..
just love Paddy B's work and George Martin..etc..
I think the Topper annuals in the 70's are better than the Beezer.

though not british comics i did pick up a few dc number 1s ie. batman, action comics, detective comics, swamp thing, ressurection man, green lantern, wonder woman (dreadful cover & art),justice league,JLI,bat wing, animal man & batgirl.I'll give it a year before they revert back to original numbering & origins, just like i knew it wouldn't be a year before they ressurected the human torch in FF.
