Comic prices and inflation. How do they compare?

The girls chat mags are also cheaper as they don't have a lot of artwork like comics do in them. I would imagine original artwork is far more expensive than text / story ideas and the odd photo - plus of course comics are no tas popular as ythey once were more females are interested in these type of mags that are in comics so sales are up etc. Lew I agree re the advertising in comics, one of the first things i look at are the ads in old 50, 60s 70s comics I buy to see what it used to be like , some brilliant ads.
