Today i pressed the wrong button on the alarm clock and forgot to get up in time >.< at least i set it! Maybe next week...

Last time i went to the same boot sale (a very long time ago) i found some 70's Beano and Dandy annuals for pennies, i thought they were far funnier and better than the 90's ones i was getting at christmas.

hello all

Did a bootsale last week and picked up
14x Secrets of the unknown -
7x Sinister tales -
5x Creepy worlds -
8x amazing stories of suspense -
2x Tales of the underworld -including number 2
2x Outer space
1x Out of this world - number 2
Voodoo number 1
2x Weird planets - I think I have the number 1 but their is no number printed on the front cover
4x Astounding stories - including number 1
7x Uncanny tales - including number 1

Paid £12 for the lot, wernt really sure what they were worth as I normally collect american comics

Also last month I bought 583 american comics for £50 including full runs of guardians of the galaxy, namor the sub mariner and a few others. Also got Spawn 2-12, Hammer and Locke 1.

Another good find was a near mint David Gemmell Legend Graphic novel bought for 20p.

These are my most recent finds but have to admit that people tend to ask silly money for their comics now, one guy last week was asking £3 per comic but they were worth about 20p each.
Brick lane flea market used to be very good, bought alot of 70s american comics their but again its dead now.

Went to another Car Boot sale today. Some more great bargains:

Dandy Book 2002 50p
Topper Books 75, 76 and 78 £2.50 (for all)
Topper Book 66 £1
Beezer Books 75, and 77 £3.00 (for all)

I wasn't sure on the year of the 66 Topper before I looked on the computer. But its pretty cheap for its age.

I also seen a Film Fun Book from 1959 for £2 but didn't buy it.

Yesterday, I got some assorted Beanos between march 1992 and april 1998. I can't remember how many (gotta be about 50 or so) but I got them all for £1. I also got the Beryl the Peril annual 1961 for £1.
