Yes, Alley Cat was in the weekly Jinty for quite some time (can't be more accurate with dates/time spans at the moment, I'd need to rummage through the Jinty collection!) and also in the annuals.

Its nice seeing some of my favourite humour comic artists working in Girl comics...

Alley Cat had a very healthy, if somewhat sporadic, run in the weekly Jinty appearing from 1976 to at least 1981, although the first artist was replaced early on.

As I'm no expert on IPC's humour artists of the 70s and 80s I'll leave it for other eyes to identify the artists responsible.

Of course, given the publisher's notorious tendency to recycle strips as often as possible I wouldn't be at all surprised if Alley Cat was subsequently reprinted elsewhere under a different name.

I will have to try and get hold of some weekly Jinty comics.

Angel Nadal may be the first one, second one is certainly Rob Lee.

Yes, I thought about Angel Nadal too. The chap on the bridge certainly has a look of Pa Nutt from Valiant.
