Brilliant Website Peter! Good information and pictures. Tom is Great!!! I think he will love the website and appreciate all of the work, time and effort you put into making it!!!

Tom and all the other top artists get much more variation in their line with the dip pen. Though I'm told that it's a very difficult tool to master, the results are worth the effort. Sadly the "Legend" series wasn't a huge commercial success. Though it would be really enjoyable putting together a Best of Bash Street Book, I doubt if this will happen. Terry Bave is well past retiral age now and has cut back on his output. A really nice guy, he lives in The Channel Islands. Enjoy your meeting with J. Edward Oliver. Best wishes, Euan

Spud - i dont think DCT will acknowledge Bax to much after their long court case - 1 would love to see more o fhis stuff reprinted (even in the Classics Annuals) but it seems a lost casue for the moment - In DCTs defense maybe Leo has some clause inthe settlement that the ycant bulk reprint his material due to copyrights or summit - Then theirs Reid (my all time fav) the guy must have been slightly insane - And of course Tom P a total nutter
