More than movie parodies - there's a Beano right in front of me with a strip called "Fatty Fudge in Pro-Celery Golf". He plays golf and eats celery, of course.

What about Brenda Bagg and the Fat Pack who appeared in Buster's strip in Buster.

I was thinking about any foodies from both the boys and girls comics:

I couldn't think of any from the boys' : the nearest is perhaps "Mowser the Prize Puss" from Lion or Tiger I think, who did like his food, although the main plot was around James The Butler's attempts to bump Mowser off to get his inheritance.

The most famous girl's foodie is Billy's sister Bessie Bunter, most notable running for 1963 to 81 from Schoolfriend to June then Tammy.
