I agree 100% re stripzines Lew and noted similar in my first reply as there are so many of these about even in the 80s there seemed to be 100s of them - wish I had held onto a few more of my early fanzines all the same like Arkensword, FA, BEM etc - strangely when my family moved from Glasgow in the mid 70s (just 14 miles south) to a (then) small town called Larkhall (now about 5 times its original size) we moved next door to a house that had a business at the back , a printer called "Ausprint" who at the time printed most of these fanzines including Comics Media new, Thing early FA etc the owner used to give me spare copies.

Yes, I got rid of a lot when I moved years ago. Pity. I had loads of them in the 1970s/80s. Wish I'd kept more of them now as most were slim zines and didn't take up too much space.

I still have my favourites: Comic Media News, Panelologist, Bem, Magazine of Tomorrow, Chain Reaction, FA, Golden Fun, British Comic World and some others. Also most issues of The Comic Journal. Some very interesting items in that I might show on my blog one day.

Brilliant list, I only have a handful of 'zines, but its great to spot an artist early work or some nugget of information.
Eagle flies again started in winter 2001 and finished on issue 14 oct 2006, if that's of any use.

The 1st zine I ever bought was Graphic Sense 4 (I think) with the Superman cover. It was a revelation at 11/12 years old. I would really like a copy of Ogre 3 if anyone has one (Wolverine cover). I have a huge pile of UK zines to trade, will get these listed.
