I don't know Ramiro Bujeiro's work, but this doesn't look like Mario Capaldi.

This is a Bujeiro's sample of football comic artwork.

And this is a Capaldi's one. Less possible...

Looking at these samples, I'd say that your Magic Man strip might possibly be by Bujeiro, but definitely isn't Capaldi.

No, no, artist of 'Magic Man' isn't Gillatt for sure

He is either Argentinian Ramiro Bujeiro or Italian Mario Capaldi, both of them having contributed in IPC/Fleetway comic series at that era.

I'm sure it was John Gillatt was the only artist credited for the Magic Man strip? I know other artists can be involved in doing the same strip as highlighted with Sandy James and Family Fortune. Made an initial error though, it was the Hot-Shot comic not the Scorcher that featured the "Magic Man" strip. If wrong, I humbly apologise, and I've gone from being a font of knowledge to a thimble.

Not at all Most of those artists seem to having made images for more than one IPC/Fleetway's comic series.

For example, it was Mike Western (rather than John Gillatt) who's made most of 'Billy's Boots' artwork during the years 1988 and 1989 for 'Roy of the Rovers' weekly magazine.

Yeah, surprising how many artists do the same strip. It's a minefield at times. And It's a pain when you have a page but hit a dead end, and where you fire off a flare and hopefully someone sees the distress signal and comes to the rescue.
