We are United is the right answer for the first strip. :)

Looking again at the second strip, I recognised Frederico Maidagan as the artist, plus there 's a 1984 date, so the answer must be easier now.

As for the Wizard (?) strip, here are two pages from the second episode.

Well, what do I know about artists? I do glean information from others from time to time though, although in this instance it has proved to be unreliable. To be clear, this bit of information I gleaned from colcool007 in October 2013 on the We Are United/Limp Along Leslie help required thread. To be fair to Col he did say at the time that he was only 90% certain! :)

The Wizard strip is in fact from Warlord and is titled Hunted!

Unfortunately, ramirez, a couple of random pictures are not going to help me one iota to locate the serial you are seeking. I had hoped that you would have told us which year it was published, especially since your 1984 date is incorrect given that the final issue of The Wizard appeared in 1978. I genuinely don't mind doing the searches, for you or any other member, but you must appreciate that I can't work in the dark.

Just before posting this I read chrisb's post, which does seem to have answered your question about the strip that you stated was in The Wizard. I'm happy about that.

I think the Frederico Maidagan strip is Deadly Dangerous Dodds, which ran from 1205-24th March 1984 to 1216-9th June 1984.

I'd go with that Chris.

Obviously there was a mix-up of the WD initials from Warlord which I mistook to be Wizard. I apologize for the turmoil, and thank you for all your answers...

There was a short-lived story in Victor in 1984 (only six episodes) drawn by Alcatena. Its greek title is "Stigmatized" and is about a man branded unjustily for cowardice and seeks to avenge the ones responsible. Is the english title the same or something similar?

Also, was the artist of "Joe Bones, the human fly" Felix Carrion? Thanks again for your help...

The Alcatena strip was titled "Branded!" and it's run in Victor was not so short. 16 episodes from issue 1211 - 5th May 1984 to 1226 - 18th August 1984.
Felix Carrion is the name I have for the artist of Joe Bones unless anyone knows otherwise.

Felix Carrion did indeed draw Joe Bones but so did Geoffrey Whittam. Their styles are nothing alike so I imagine it is the Felix Carrion version we are talking about.

Thank you Kashgar. I have been after his name for quite a while now. It's always nice to put a name to an artist.

I have been after the name of the main Joe Bones artist for ages! Talk about good things coming to those who wait!

You are most likely correct chris. The notes I have written down for each story are just the issue number it started and ended at, not how many pages each issue contained. And on several occasions more than one episode were printed in one issue, which I 'm sure must be the case here. Thank you once again for your spot-on details. :)

A few more questions, short and easy (I hope).

Who is the writer of the 1988 Eagle strip "Mask of evil", drawn by Vanyo?

Who is the artist of the Jet strip "Bala the Briton"?

There 's a 1987 Victor car strip, I believe drawn by Barrie Mitchell, with the classic villains trying to stop the good guys from winning a tournament by sabotaging their car, cutting down trees on the road etc. The greek title is "Ace of the steering wheel". What is the english title?
