Raven! I certainly rate "Eleven 0` Clock" as good (if not better) than "After School"

It features mysterious happenings at a French `holiday-retreat` for the two principal players played by Ronald Hines and the lovely Tina Heath. A strange old Grandfather Clock and a similary ancient `Dartboard!!` hold the key to the unfolding of events that harken back 60 years to a very special date!

One Network bargain I'd recommend at the moment: The Adventures of Black Beauty: the Complete Series (52 episodes) is only £9.97 at Amazon; nearest online price £25. A timeless classic, and the episode 'Out of the Night' is creepy as anything on Shadows. 19p an episode!

Yes, The Singing Ringing Tree's bear quite frightened me when I was a little boy. There it is on the cover, on the bridge. AAAAAGH.

I bought the Robinson Crusoe release (which is dubbed into English) a while ago. I wasn't a big fan as a kid - it seemed so ancient and to be repeated so often - but it's a nice, high quality series, which I appreciate much more as an adult.

Quite a lot to buy.
I'm still waiting for 'The Kids From 47a' To be released.
According to the Digital Spy forum the first series could be released this year by Network.
Right off to watch Shameless

If it's the thread I just looked at, someone said that in March 2011! Just guesswork I think; there've been no announcements as yet. I could see it happening, though.

And don't forget to save your money for the forthcoming Flintlock oeuvre.

Seeing the Robinson Crusoe dvd reminds me of White Horses which I think was another German series dubbed into English. The theme song got to number one in the Hit Parade (Top Twenty for younger members).

White Horses was Czech and the singer of White Horses was Sandi Lee who also sang the theme to Rupert The Bear. Now hands up to those who start to sing Everyone knows his name in their head?

Cerys Matthews of Catatonia fame also does a credible version of White Horses but nowhere near as good as Sandi's
