Got the full run of Marvel Action, complete with free gifts. I doubt much interest to most of you but fantastic for me.

Just got a Dandy Book 1958 in absolutely pristine condition not often you find them in such brilliant condition!

Got the Dandy Special in WH Smiths in Glasgow on the way home very nice

Not seen the Dandy special in the Manchester store (the one near the print works) this morning but all the annuals where in there

Yeah its out I picked it up on the way home at Glasgow Central Station (WH Smiths) on FRIDAY night - £5.99 has a "copy" of Dandy no1 in the last 20 or so pages - for me I would have liked to have seen more 60s work but its still a nice book has some nice Ken Reid (Bing Bang Benny) and Bill Holroyd on Brassneck as well as Black Bob, Umbrella Men and Crimson Ball etc

Apart from the first issue does it just contain 50s stuff or bits and bats from its 75 year history?

Its hard to say what's 50s as not dated and I'm not Dandy expert - Stips include: Addie and Hermy, Korky, Bamboo town etc (30s -40s) a Black Bob story (Poor Blind Bob) , Blitz Boy, Whako, Jocks and Geordies , Bully Beef and Chips, Umbrella Men, Hovercraft Snatchers, Winker Watson, Corp Clott, Smasher, Bing Bang Benny Blitz Boy, Big Head , Brassneck, and Thick Head (Reid) if thats any help (not a lot of Dan about 3-4 pages)

Sounds like a mixed bag might get it if I see one but only 4 pages for dan is very poor as the strip was the most popular for decades and should have been on the cover from the start IMHO

On the other hand Dan does take pride of place on the 'cut-out' cover!
