i watch harry hill every week and do not remeber seeing him show that blown up cover so maybe it was after the show went off air or summat.

I certainly preferred the Dandy over the Beano in the 1960s! In my Comic reading hey-day 1960 to 73. I had bought for me-then later bought for myself, nearly every Dandy from late 1960 to about Mid 1969! In contrast, I don't think I had more than fifty Beano's in the same period!

Today's Dandy just does not appeal to me at all, sorry everyone! I really disliked `Dandy Extreme` and for me, the new Dandy seems much the same! (The `Snot & Fart stuff, just bores me utterly) But I do wish it well and every sucess all the same!

Snot and Fart? So basically you don't like Bogies and the single line Phantom Pharter strips. Most of the comic doesn't rely on that toilet humour!

As lucky as I was to be in the UK when the new Dandy launched, the time had to come when I'd be back in the UK comic wasteland that is Australia. Despite loving the revamp, I thought I could manage for a while before getting another issue... but issue 3510 just sounds too good! Dan on the back cover, old Dandy Mastheads in Kid Cops... etc. Yeah, little things I know...

Is there anyone on here willing to buy and send me a copy? I'd pay via paypal of course. And let me know how much it'd cost too before you do anything so I can decide if I really want to get it (theres only so much I'll pay for a comic, even one as good as the new Dandy!)

And... Hmm, if it doesn't make a huge difference in postage cost, perhaps I'll get whoever is kind enough to respond, to get issue 3511 too...

Is this one of Jamie Smarts logos he drew up for the comic before they picked the one they use?

I'm guessing that they're using that logo on Facebook because it centres better in a square than the one on the comic.

Yeah, that probably is the reason. The writing is similar to the official logo. They should use it as their Twitter icon too, as that currently says AND because the first D and the Y are cut off!

Phill Tuffnel, Sue Barker and Matt Dawson appear in a strip this week.

Well, looks as if they did exactly what I said. That variant logo is now on Twitter too, although the real logo is still used as the background.

He drew Monkey Nuts in DFC so looks like adventure comic detailed character is on the way as a guess..
