From ebay - Goofy (and also Pluto) number 2 - I originally got this brought for me when I went on my first train trip in October 1973 when I was 10. Hurricanes No.1 (Sept 30 1994) - a fortnightly from DC Thompson and Cheeky Weekly 10/12/1977.

Do you have a picture of the Hurricanes comic? I'll admit that it is one I have never heard of.

I guess it's a licensed title related to this: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hurricanes_(TV_series)

Digi, I think it is, but I'd liked to see the comic first.

I bought about a dozen issues of Pixie from ebay today. Haven't received them yet but its a title I don't have a single copy of. Have also won a few Real West type magazines in the past two weeks.

I made a little trip to Warrington & its collectables market netting:

1971 Topper Annual

Beezer annuals from 1961 (complete with wicked Baxendale Banana Bunch, including a text story), 69-71, 73 & 76.

Sure, Vexillia - it's known as the Vintage MArket & entry's free - it's located at the back of Warrington market hall.

It's held once a month usually in middle & towards end - the next ones on this year will be 16th November then 14th December.

One great regular stall is run by a great guy called Jez, who sells lots of annuals and some comics as well - has a good variety on sale there. If you ask him what you're after he may have it for the next time you visit. Also sells some old magazines sometimes.

There were 3 other stalls with comics & lots of annuals on sale - but some of these do not do every Vintage in Warrington.

Also is an American comic shop in the market right at the back (behind the stalls when market is on).

It's well worth a look & visit.

Thanks. I should be able to make it in December.

Bought Saltire, an indie press production with high values. Also bought From Hell at last. Not to mention Tanya Roberts' Forgotten Muse and Jim Devlin's It's Tough At The (Big) Top.

I'll upload a scan of it tomorrow, hopefully.
