A relaunch on October 27th hopefully implies a change back to a weekly comic. The 'on sale' date for the next issue is Oct 6th, therefore the following fortnightly would be Oct 20th, with the NEW Dandy launching the week afterwards.... 4 weeks tomorrow, chums!

Why that date, if the relaunch is two weeks later, but the Dandy is out the previous and next weeks? Advert in the Beano?

If it is a weekly comic again. I guess it may go the same route as the Beano with occasional hike prices as the Xtreme does (often at the same time as the Beano hikes its price)

Not long to wait

I e-mailed the Weekly News re distribution problem last week and took the liberty of asking if they will be doing an article on the Dandy relaunch to which they replied they would. I wonder if there will be tv spots too?

Makes sense to self-promote. I agree that it would be a good idea to get features on the likes of The One Show, Daybreak, BBC Breakfast and an "And Finally" feature on ITV News.

Unfortunately, that statement isn't true, still no mention of any relaunch at dandy.com

There will be a new website coming soon.

Good, the current one hasn't changed since before the Xtreme relaunch, apart from the logo being updated. It's nowhere near as good as The Beano's. My point was that the website isn't mentioning the comic's relaunch, yet claims to have the news first. We've scooped it, although anyone who knows the exact details isn't telling.

The new website will be a million-times better than the current effort.

I expect all will be revealed soon to maxtreme effect.
