Sorry couldn't help noticing after reading all of this, the newspaper and loads of news sites seemed to of claimed the first issue of the relaunch Dandy had characters like Bill Oddie-Watch and The ZZZ Team, who are they?! At least they got Bear Thrills but he featured in the Christmas issue! D'oh!

Sure that's in the right thread? This one hasn't been posted in since December, so Bear Thrills was actually brand new then (sounds like someone didn't do their research, if he was said to be in issue 1). ZZZ Team was one-shot, and Bill Oddie-Watch is actually Bill Oddie from Springwatch - he has an irregular single line strip. Unfortunately, he no longer presents the show, effectively rendering the strip obsolete from the start.

I was saying that back in October the news sites and this news article (http://www.comicsuk.co.uk/Forum/downloa ... &mode=view) say "There will be 18 new characters, including Pepperoni Pig, Postman Prat, Bill Oddie-Watch, The ZZZ-Team, The Y-Factor and Bear Thrills".

I don't remember ever seeing The ZZZ-Team, Bill Oddie-Watch or The Y-Factor ever featuring in the Dandy let alone the first relaunched issue!

See what I mean now?

Bear Thrills was clearly postponed (for Kid Cops I think - it and Prat weren't originally meant to both run at the same time).

I think the dandy of 2011 is way better than the dandy xtreme.

I think most of us agree about that!

I see Digi's romping up the leader board of postings. Just eleven more to go, possibly fewer by the time I've posted these musings, and he'll be top dog and top cat, top of the league, leaving the excellent and authoritative Lew Stringer in his wake. I can't help wondering, though, whether posts could, or should, be graded by something other than simply adding one to the previous total for each new post, regardless of its length. Some sort of quality control? Their content perhaps?

Hope it's not going to end.
