Apologies to everyone who has tried to post on my blog over the last couple of days. When i reinstalled Wordpress recently, I forgot to turn back on allowing of commenting on my posts. This has been fixed for the last seven or eight posts or so.

Yeah, I assumed it was on purpose too - I saw Lew Stringer's complaints about spam comments a few months ago and thought you might have been preventing the same.

No, as it seems that the spammers usually post on older posts.

This is the reason why I close comments more than a month old, so the October posts comments will be turned off by the end of this month.
